Dolce Suono Ensemble (DSE), founded in 2005 by flutist Mimi Stillman, is a powerful force in the world of chamber music and a major contributor to the cultural life of Philadelphia.

DSE’s mission is to enrich and inform people’s lives through chamber music. Our curatorial vision sets the music in its broadest cultural CELEBRATE WITH US! context, with projects innovative and profound.

An active recording artist, she has made CDs for EMI, Innova Recordings, Centaur, and Albany, and recorded a film score for Kevin Bacon. Ms. Stillman holds an MA in history from the University of Pennsylvania and is a published author on music and history.
