Please note in relation to the response below, the Lead Allied Health Professionals with in Community Health Partnerships (CHP’s) for Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy services in NHS Grampian are the same contact.

Occupational Therapy in Aberdeen city is subdivided into two teams; the first responsible for community based services and working within Aberdeen City Community Health Partnership; the second responsible for hospital based Occupational Therapy. Mental Health and Learning Difficulties The occupational therapy service is the largest Allied Health Professional workforce in the Mental Health & Learning Difficulties sector with separate teams in each directorate. The Allied Health Professional (AHP) lead for the service is Jane Fletcher.

Aberdeen City CHP
The Physiotherapy service for Aberdeen City Community Health Partnership encompasses the following teams: • Musculoskeletal – Woodend General Hospital, Physiotherapy dept, Aberdeen, Aberdeen Health Village. This service covers clinics in Aberdeen Health Village including the Pelvic Dysfunction Service and MSK HUb. Physiotherapy Clinics at Peterculter Health centre, Woodend hospital, Bridge of Don Clinic, Dyce Clinic, Torry Neighbourhood Centre and the OHS staff service. • Specialist Rehabilitation Physiotherapy team. This team covers physiotherapy services in the following areas. Stroke Unit, Neurological Rehabilitation Unit (NRU), Horizons, Craig Court. • Intermediate care on Woodend site - Physiotherapy Dept, South Block, Woodend. • Community Physiotherapists based in the Links Resource Centre on the City Hospital site. Please note that the team structure is currently under review. This includes the physiotherapist seeing patients in their own homes including staff in the supported discharge team, those covering pulmonary rehabilitation, Falls classes, MS classes in Stuart Resource Centre and staff working with Bon Accord Care in Rosewell and Clashieknowne intermediate care units and the Links unit. Physiotherapy staff also work in the Mobility and Rehabilitation Service at Woodend Hospital in the prosthetic dept and are Matrix managed by the lead orthotist. Matrix management also exists for the staff working in Orthopaedic Rehabilitation Unit by senior staff based in trauma orthopaedics on the ARI site. Page 5 Mental Health and Learning Difficulties
The physiotherapy team is a small team split into services for Mental Health and services for Learning Disabilities with a Uniprofessional Lead. The Allied Health Professional (AHP) lead for the service is Jane Fletcher. • Learning Disability - there is physiotherapy resource allocated to the five community Learning Difficulties Teams in Aberdeen City, Shire North, Shire Central, Shore South and Moray. • Mental Health - the Mental Health physiotherapy service provides mainly an inpatient service to Royal Cornhill Hospital (RCH) with a limited out patient service (all delivered from RCH). There is also physiotherapy input to the North of Scotland Eden Unit (Specialist Eating Disorder in-patient Service).
