2 Board Meeting Guidelines THE BOARD OF EDUCATION 1. The Board of Education bears the responsibility of setting policy for the school district. The Board recognizes the importance of conducting the business of the District in an orderly and efficient manner and will, therefore, require reasonable controls to regulate public representations to the Board.

2. Board of Education meetings are scheduled to consider and act upon specific items of business. An agenda is made available to the public three days prior to the scheduled David Badanes Allison Noonan meeting on the District’s website. President Vice President

3. Communications to the Board of Education requiring Board action shall be placed on the agenda of the next regular meeting which occurs at least five business days following the receipt of the communication.

4. The Board of Education wishes to provide an avenue for citizens to express their interests and concerns. The Board has set aside time when residents may address the Board.
