New Issues — sepac 2013

This year the sepac countries chose “wildlife” as the theme. Perhaps your humble editor will get some more “crossover” issues with his World Wildlife Fund collection. Or perhaps not.

Upcoming Shows: ROPEX/NTSS — Mark Your Calendar

The next National Topical Stamp Show will be held May 17-19 in Rochester New York. This will be a first for NTSS— a joint show, held in conjunction with ROPEX, Rochester’s annual show. Since Rochester is close to the Canadian border, we hope that some of our northern friends can attend—or even exhibit! The show will be held at the Main Street Armory, 900 East Main Street (hence the name). The show hotel will be at the Quality Inn, 1273 Chili Ave. (adjacent to the airport, and just a few minutes from the Armory). Be sure to ask for the ATA rate ($89+tax).

The ESU will have a table at the show, and all the officers plan to attend, so we hope you can come and share your collecting interests with us. NTSS has always been one of the most fun shows of the year!

Show coordinator Vera Felts says “there will be shuttle service from the show hotel to the site. We have sched- uled the shuttle already for times folks are likely to be needing it, and it is also available on call at all times. Addi- tionally, several folks connected with our show will have cars there and will be going back and forth on a regular basis--and are willing to provide rides. We do realize this will be an inconvenience--one that is unavoidable be- cause of the change in show venue and the fact that hotel rooms are extremely scarce that weekend.” MARCH-APRIL 2013 414-4
