Tender Notice District Govt. Hafizabad TENDER NOTICE DISTRICT GOVT. HAFIZABAD Sealed tenders based on item rates at Market Rates system –2004 (Amended up to the date of receipt of tenders) are hereby invited, for the works mentioned below from the contractors / firms enlisted for the year 2014-2015 with C&W Department in category “A” Secretary C&W Deptt:, in category “B” Chief Engineer Highway (North), and in category “C”& “D” works & Services Deptt: Hafizabad and those whose who have got their PEC license renewed for the year 2015. Tender documents can be obtained from the following offices during the office hours against written request accompanied with attested copies of contractor/firm enlistment / renewal, License of Pakistan Engineering Council, identity Card of contractor/ managing partner of the firm valid along with registered power of attorney / or partnership deed (registered as the case may be) on payment of prescribed fee (on cash payment) & along with CDR of 2% of tendered amount. 1. District Officer Roads, Hafizabad Tendered rates and amount should be filled in figures as well as in words and tenders should be signed as per general directions given in the tender documents cutting if any shall be signed. No rebate on tendered rates will be acceptable. %Age of rate filled tenders will not be accepted Tenders will be received in the office of the undersigned at 01:00 PM on the date of opening of tenders and will be opened at 01:30 PM there after by the District Tender Board in the presence of contractors or their authorized representatives. Conditional tenders and tenders not accompanied with earnest money in shape of deposit at call receipt from scheduled Bank and attested copies of registered partnership deed and power of attorney in case of firms will not be entertained. Tenders will be issued to the contractors having good reputation. Tenders will not be issued to the contractors, having works in Highway Division Hafizabad with poor progress / quality. The procuring agency may reject all bids or proposals at any time prior to the acceptance of bid or proposals under PPRA rules (35) 2014. The PAM should include references to all available templates and instructions either through linkages to relevant URLs or directly incorporated in the PAM. The executing and implementing agencies are wholly responsible for the implementation of ADB financed projects, as agreed jointly between the borrower and ADB, and in accordance with Government and ADB’s policies and procedures. ADB staff is responsible to support implementation including compliance by executing and implementing agencies of their obligations and responsibilities for project implementation in accordance with ADB’s policies and procedures. Such agreement shall be reflected in the minutes of the Loan Negotiations. In the event of any discrepancy or contradiction between the PAM and the Loan and Project Agreements, the provisions of the Loan and Project Agreements shall prevail. After ADB Board approval of the project's report and recommendations of the President (RRP) changes in implementation arrangements are subject to agreement and approval pursuant to relevant Government and ADB administrative procedures (including the Project Administration Instructions) and upon such approval they will be subsequently incorporated in the PAM.
