ITINERARY

Day 1 : Day 1, Saturday: Arrival – Bucharest

Dinner Included „Welcome to Romania!“ greets you the local guide at the airport in Bucharest. Afterwards enjoy a city tour in Bucharest, where you will discover the highlights of the Romanian metropolis, such as the Arch of Triumph, the Victory Square, the Victory Palace, the Revolution Square and the Parliament Palace. Check-in and dinner at the hotel.

Day 2 : Day 2, Sunday: Bucharest – Sibiu

Breakfast and Dinner Included In the morning the trip takes you to Transylvania. You drive along the Olt Valley and make a stop in Cozia, where you will visit a medieval monastery. At noon take a walking tour in the famous town of Sibiu. See the Grand Square and Small Square, the Liar’s Bridge and the Evangelical Church. Traditional dinner with brandy and wine at the locals in the village of Sibiel.

Day 3 : Day 3, Monday: Sibiu – Medias - Biertan – Sighisoara – Targu Mures

Breakfast and Dinner Included Soon after breakfast drive to Medias, where you will visit the St. Margaret Church. Then drive to Biertan, where you discover the , UNESCO World Heritage Site. Afterwards drive to Sighisoara, where you take a walk and find out more about the Watch Tower, the Church on the Hill and the Birth House of Dracula. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 4 : Day 4, Tuesday: Targu Mures – Bistrita – Gura Humorului

Breakfast and Dinner Included In the morning visit the city of Targu Mures with its famous Rose Square and the Orthodox Cathedral. Drive further to Bistrita, where you will take a walking tour and then, through the Tihuta Pass, arrive in Bucovina. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 5 : Day 5, Wednesday: Gura Humorului – Monasteries – Piatra Neamt

Breakfast and Dinner Included Today visit the Moldovita Monastery, where you will enjoy a guiding tour made by a nun. Shortly after that, continue your journey to the Sucevita Monastery. In the afternoon visit the Voronet Monastery from the 15-th century, which is known as the “Sistine Chapel of East”. Afterwards drive to Piatra Neamt. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 6 : Day 6, Thursday: Piatra Neamt – Prejmer – Brasov

Breakfast and Dinner Included In the morning continue your trip along the breathtaking landscapes of the Bicaz Gorge towards Transylvania. Around noon you will arrive at the fortified church Prejmer, which is UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the afternoon take a walking tour in Brasov, where you will visit the famous Black Church. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 7 : Day 7, Friday: Brasov – Bran – Sinaia - Bucharest

Breakfast and Dinner Included In the morning you visit the Dracula Castle, which was built in the 14-th century as customs between Transylvania and Wallachia. Then continue your trip to Sinaia, one of the most beloved destinations of Romania, where you’ll visit the magnificent summer residence of the former Royal family, the Peles Castle. Afterwards drive to Bucharest. Farewell dinner with folk show and wine in a local restaurant.

Day 8 : Day 8, Saturday: Bucharest – Airport
