James P. Rubin is an internaonally renowned foreign aﬀairs journalist, academic and world leading authority on US - European relaons, security and foreign policy making. He was Assistant Secretary of State for Public Aﬀairs under President Clinton, Chief Spokesman for the State Department between 1997 and 2000.

Foreign Affairs Mr. Rubin received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Polical Science and a Masters in The Global Geopolitical and Economic Internaonal Affairs from Columbia University. From 2005 to 2007 he was Landscape Anchor and World Affairs Commentator for Sky News. He was a top policy Behind the Scenes of the World Stage adviser to Secretary of State Madeleine Albright and has since held numerous International Policy Making senior posions in the internaonal media, including at Sky News and Bloomberg US - European Relations and is a regular contributor on polics and internaonal affairs on television and Foreign Policy: Handling Crisis and in the press. Since 2014 James writes a regular column on foreign affairs for the Moving Forward in an Age of Sunday Times and serves on the Board of the Internaonal Peace Instute and Uncertainty was Vising Scholar from 2013 to 2014 at the Rothermere American Instute, Oxford. He has also been a vising professor at Columbia University's School of LANGUAGES: Internaonal and Public Affairs and the London School of Economics.
