Release of grant in aid of Rs.4.09 Cr to Puducherry Urban Development Agency-PUDA of Local Administration Department for implementation of National Urban Livelihood Mission (NULM) under continuing Urban Development programmes.

Sanction for release of Grant in Aid of Central share of Rs.1.05 Cr and State share of 10.58 lakhs for implementation of the ongoing National Rural Drinking Water programme under Jal Jeevan Mission in the U.T. of Puducherry to provide functional Household Tap connection with adequate quantity of water. Expost facto expenditure sanction of Rs.2.67 Crore for food security allowance to Children (Class I to VIII) incurred under Midday Meals scheme during closure of schools. Expenditure Sanction for Rs.4,28,21,200/- towards payment of Financial assistance to 20,952 nos. differently abled persons in all four regions of the UT of Puducherry. Approved the proposal for expanding and modernization of the Fire Service Department by seeking Grant in Aid. Rs.15,00,00,000/- by policy before 15th Finance Commission.
