Der har i samme periode også været et fald i antallet af børn der bliver født, men faldet har ikke været lige så stort som faldet i antallet af fødeafdelinger. Dette betyder at presset på den enkelte fødeafdeling er blevet større, men det har også haft den betydning at der er blevet længere imellem fødeafdelingerne. I Region Sjælland er der lukket 8 fødeafdelinger ud af 12, og da det arealmæssigt er en stor region, betyder lukningen at der er sket en stor ændring i hvor langt der er mellem fødeafdelingerne. Ved at anvende GIS-analyser undersøges der i dette speciale hvor meget tilgængeligheden til fødeafdelingerne i Region Sjælland har ændret sig for kvinder i den fødedygtige alder og hvordan det vil se ud i fremtiden. ISSN 1397-3169 The challenge of sustainable mobility in urban planning and development: Copenhagen Case 1 Preface This report presents the results of a study of the ways planners and decision-makers in Copenhagen Metropolitan Area have understood, interpreted, formulated policies and finally acted in relation to transport and land-use in a sustainability context during the period since the 1990s. The Copenhagen case is part of a comparative study also including the metropolitan areas of Oslo in Norway and Hangzhou in China. The project was funded by Volvo Research and Educational Foundation and was carried out during the period from the winter of 2007 to the summer of 2009. This is the second edition of the report, which was published in a first version in August 2009. In this new version, a number of errors that had unfortunately occurred in the first version have been corrected.
