To that end, we’re encouraging shows to have a “public judging” [email protected] event at each show. At this event, we’ll ask one of the show vendors to pro- vide goldfish for a public education and judging event. The head judge will discuss how to choose the particular varieties displayed, and then will invite the public to “judge” these fish. The head judge will then provide an analy- sis of each fish, and answer any questions the public may have. This event has been very popular at recent shows, and we encourage every show to of- fer a similar learning forum. • The first annual AGA national show will be held in partnership with the MAKC show in the Washington, DC area on September 28—30th, 2007. We hope to see you all there, and will fill our members in on the seminars and learning opportunities at the show. We’ll have at least five judges at the show, including head judge Tony Reynolds, Art Lembke, Larry and Pat Christensen, and Peter Ponzio.
