I had hoped to finish my time in the bush without getting anyone hurt, but luck ran out on the last time cut. It has gotten worse since. I left for school. We are operating in the Mo-Duc area south of Quang Ngai and this has been a V. C. strong point for 20 years. I understand the French never went into this area while they were fightin'g here. I can see why, it is real Indian Country out there. This is about all tor now. Will write more about the new job as soon as I get more snapped in. Take care now. Lt. Darrell T. Stevens
