Congratulations to the 2018 Cronulla Woman of the Year Kate Fitzsimons. Kate is the director of the Nicole Fitzsimons Foundation, which raises overseas travel safety awareness among young Australians (including personal presentations to around 50,000 senior school students) and helps gifted performing artists and sportspeople achieve their potential. Two magnificent all-weather hockey fields have opened at Marang Parklands in Greenhills. The local sports infrastructure project has been led by Sutherland Shire Council with the NSW government contributing $700,000 to the project.

Anzac soil collection

Work has started on the following upgrades: • An extra right-turn lane from the Kingsway turning north into Gannons Road Caringbah.
