The staff of the Ticker has endeavored to spell out as^clearly as^possibie the advantages and disadvantages of this proposal. The passage of this new calendar by the Baruch Community could have tremendous impact on the College and, perhaps more importantly, on each \ individual student, faculty member, and administrator. By the same token, should it be decided to turn thumbs down on the proposal, it is extremely important that such a negative decision be based on knowledege of all the facts and clear Intelligent thought. Hopefully, the student body will be given the opportunity to vote before the faculty makes its decision at their rescheduled meeting to be held next week. Here is the proposal: Under the new calendar the academic year wil'jconsist of four semesters.
