20.02.1 DECLARATION OF INTEREST
No declarations of interest were received
20.02.1.1 PUBLIC MATTERS
The meeting was informed that the new Prince of Wales Hospice shop in Selby was doing well but they are having problems with donations. A suggestion was made that donation bags be delivered with the next newsletter. It was also agreed that one of the coffee mornings would focus on the Prince of Wales Hospice.
The comment made about paint markings on footpaths to identify repairs has been passed to NYCC.
A question was asked about organising a litter pick. This suggestion is to be looked at.

20.02.4.1 Planning applications Eggborough Power Station. Hybrid application for demolition of part of the former power station and ancillary buildings and its redevelopment – no comments
Land adjacent Old Vicarage, Kellington. Application for the proposed erection of 3 detached dwellings with detached garages. The application is to be considered
20.02.4.2 Update Broach lane - no decision has been made at present.
The Southmoor development for an incinerator has been approved.
20.02.5 FINANCE UPDATE
20.02.5.1 Clerk gave an update of the cheque account, savings account and payments made.
As at 31 January 2020 as per the bank statement there is £24,457.54 in the current account and £4,048.90 in the savings account.

20.02.6 FACILITIES UPDATE
20.02.6.1 Allotments – Following the advertisement of the vacant plots there is now only 1 vacant. Most of the rents have now been paid.
20.02.6.2 Playground – action is required on some items.
20.02.6.3 Village Hall – everything going ok
20.02.6.4 Activities for the More Mature – the coffee morning held on 1 February was well attended.
20.02.6.5 Vehicle Activated Sign (VAS) – This is still being worked on.
20.02.6.6 HMS Kellington ceremonial lifebelt- ongoing having difficulties sourcing a box to display the lifebelt.

The next newsletter will be produced to coincide with the April coffee morning.
