Prepárense para vivir La Vida Loca, porque este septiembre Ricky Martin visitará Gibraltar durante su gira mundial para una actuación exclusiva en el festival MTV Presents Gibraltar Calling.
El rompecorazones portorriqueño de 45 años cuenta con una estelar carrera a sus espaldas, desde su comienzo a los 12 años en la banda Menudo.
EnN 1998, Martin grabó la canción oficial del Mundial de Fútbol que se celebró en Francia, The Cup of Life.
En 1999, presentó Livin’ La Vida Loca, el tema que disparó su carrera a nivel mundial tras alcanzar el Número 1 alrededor del mundo.
Ricky Martin sigue publicando música activamente y se mantiene como uno de los artistas latinos más cotizados del mundo.
El cantante también ha ejercido como jurado en la edición australiana del exitoso programa de televisión La Voz, donde uno de sus concursantes llegó a la final. También ha sido jurado en la edición mexicana del mismo concurso.
Recientemente, el tema Vente Pa' Ca, una colaboración con el cantante colombiano Maluma, ha alcanzado el millón de visitas en YouTube y el Número 1 en las listas de la mayor parte de los países hispanohablantes.

colaboración entre MTV y el festival de música Gibraltar Calling. Martin sigue representando un sonido fresco y cuenta con una carrera y fama que se extienden durante varias décadas, por lo que su catálogo de éxitos es extenso. No me cabe ninguna duda de que los miles de asistentes al festival disfrutarán de su música, con el Peñón de fondo».
Aparte de su carrera musical, Martin forma parte del elenco de la película, actualmente en fase de rodaje, sobre los últimos días del diseñador de moda Gianni Versace. El cantante interpretará a Antonio d’Amico, la pareja de Versace. El largometraje narrará la historia tras el asesinato del diseñador y contará con la participación de estrellas como Penélope Cruz, Edgar Ramírez, etc.
El año pasado, Martin fue premiado con un nuevo Grammy por su disco A quien quiera escuchar.
El artista también es uno de los mayores reclamos de Las Vegas con su espectáculo permanente en el Casino y Hotel Montecarlo.
Martin se une a un gran elenco de artistas, como Bastille, Craig David, Clean Bandit, Years & Years, Kaiser Chiefs o Tinie Tempah, entre otros, del cartel del festival de música MTV Presents Gibraltar Calling.

RICKY MARTIN TO BRING HIS WORLD TOUR FOR AN EXCLUSIVE SHOW AT MTV Presents GIBRALTAR CALLING MUSIC FESTIVAL!
Get ready to start Livin’ La Vida Loca as Ricky Martin brings his World Touring production to Gibraltar this September for an exclusive one-off show as he performs at MTV Presents Gibraltar Calling Music Festival.
The 45-year-old heartthrob from Puerto Rico has a stellar career spanning as far back as to when he was 12 years old and part of a band called Menudo.
In 1998 Ricky recorded the title track ‘The Cup of Life’ for that year’s FIFA World Cup held in France.
Shortly after that in 1999 Ricky released 'Livin’ La Vida Loca' and that was the hit that launched his global career to new heights as the track reached #1 across the World.
Ricky Martin continues being very active musically and remains one of the hottest Latino artists in the world today.
He has also been a coach on the Australian version of the hit show The Voice where one of his acts made it into the final. He was also a coach on the Mexican version of the show.

Aside from his music, Ricky has recently been cast and is currently filming the horror story about the last days of fashion designer Gianni Versace life. Ricky is cast as Antonio D’Amico, Giannis' partner. The film will tell the story of Versace’s murder and will also feature the likes of Penélope Cruz, Edgar Ramirez, etc.
Ricky last year won another Grammy Award for his album, “A Quien Quiera Escuchar”.
He holds the record for being one of the biggest attractions in Las Vegas with his residency at the Monte Carlo Resort and Casino.
