Macdonald is the B-Listed. Either this is in error or the A-Listed has fallen into disrepair while the B-Listed has been maintained until relatively recently.

There is also a third thatched cottage on this croft (marked 472b on the gazetter) 472 (B-listed) which has been renovated but is unlisted, which contributes to the confusion.
