The Dana Point Festival of Whales is one of Southern California’s largest seafaring celebrations. Dana Point will be celebrating with festivities March 7–8 & 14–15, 2020, offering something for everyone. Festivities include an opening parade, Street Fair, art and craft shows, classic car exhibits, paddling and sailing opportunities, sand sculpting, concerts on land and water, environmental activities, education opportunities, kid’s activities and of course whale watching excursions. FESTIVAL OF WHALES PARADE FESTIVAL OF WHALES CONCERT & BBQ NEW LOCATION IN March 15 DANA POINT HARBOR! March 7 This FREE outdoor concert is held on Sunday, March 15th, from 12:00pm to 5:00pm, at Baby Beach in Dana Point Kicking off the festivities is the Festival Harbor. The event features 3 bands performing on the water of Whales Parade on Saturday, March on a floating stage. 7th beginning at 10:00am. The new parade route starts at the Richard Henry Dana statue Bring your beach chairs and blankets and enjoy an afternoon on the Island Way bridge, goes over the bridge of great music. BBQ specialties will be available for purchase then right on Dana Point Harbor Drive and benefiting Dana Hills High School. A Spirit Garden for those ends at Dana Point Harbor Drive and Golden over 21 years of age will be available with proceeds benefiting Lantern. The parade can be viewed from the Marine Corp League.
