Download the latest MIUI ROM file Download here There is no need to do it again if you‟ve already downloaded the latest ROM file.
Connect your device to the Windows PC/laptop via a micro USB cable, and copy the ROM file downloaded in Step 1 into the folder „downloaded_rom‟ in the internal storage of your device.
Launch „Settings‟ app on your device, select „About phone‟, click „System update‟, then press „three dots‟ icon at the top-right corner, and select „choose update package‟ to enter. Choose the ROM file you‟ve put in „downloaded_rom‟ in Step 2.
After choosing the right ROM file, your device will begin upgrading. Your device should automatically boot to the new version when the update is completed.

(Please check if the ROM file suffix is '.tgz'. If it is '.gz', please rename it to '.tgz')
Turn off the device. Press the Volume– key and the Power button at the same time to enter Fastboot mode. Then connect the device to the Windows PC/laptop via a micro USB cable
Double click on the downloaded ROM file to decompress it. Open the file folder for the decompressed ROM pack, and copy its path on the computer.
Decompress the MIUI ROM flashing tool downloaded in Step 1, and double click on it to install (if there is security warning, select 'Run'). After installation is completed, open MiFlash.exe and paste into the address bar the ROM file folder path copied in the last step. Click on the first button (circled out in yellow) to Refresh, and MiFlash should automatically recognize the device. Then click the second button (circled out in red) to flash the ROM file to the device.
Wait until the progress bar inside MiFlash turns fully green, which means the ROM has been successfully installed. Then your device should automatically boot to the new version.

Langkah – langkah metode pengujian
A. Metode 1
- Hidupkan handphone xiaomi
- Konfigurasi pengaturan awal
- Masuk ke akun mi
- Masukkan password dan hasilnya salah
- Hidupkan penampil password
- Tahan dan pilih semua password
- Pilih gambar pencarian
- Pilih menu aplikasi google
- Di pencarian google ketik “setelan” dan pilih menu setelan - Kemudian masuk ke menu setelan dan pilih menu ruang kedua
- Kemudian menunggu masuk ke ruang kedua
- Setelah selesai, sudah bisa masuk menu xiaomi
- Cek wifi, sinyal kartu, dan bluetooth aman
B. Metode 2
- Bongkar handphone xiaomi
- Lepas backdoor dan cover mesin belakang
- Kemudian lakukan testpoint untuk masuk ke mode edl
- Sambungkan kabel usb dari handphone ke laptop pada saat melakukan testpoint tadi
- Setelah terdeteksi, cek ke device manager, masuk di bagian port, apabila sudah terdeteksi tulisan Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 (COM) maka handphone sudah siap untuk proses flashing
- Kemudian masuk ke aplikasi xiaomiflash, pilih refresh, kemudaian pilih select, pilih firmware yang sudah di sediakan, pilih clean all and lock untuk hapus semua data, kemudian pilih flash
- Tunggu sampai proses flashing selesai
- Setelah selesai kita konfigurasi awal seperti biasa
- Kemudian sambungkan ke wifi
- Masuk ke menu xiaomi account
- Ternyata masih tetap terkunci, jadi xiaomi account di redmi 4x tetap akan terkunci apabila di flash ke firmware lain.
C. Metode 3 - Hidupkan handphone redmi 4x
- Langsung masuk ke menu xiaomi account posisi terkunci
- Kemudian matikan handphone
- Lepas backdoor dan cover mesin
- Lakukan testpoint dan hubungkan dengan laptop memakai kabel usb
- Cek driver nya di device manager, setelah terdeteksi drivernya handphone siap untuk di flash
- Kemudian masuk ke aplikasi Qfil, select port, arahkan ke pilihan Qualcomm
HS-USB QDLoader 9008 (COM)
- Kemudian pilih Flat build, selanjutnya pilih browse, pilih file firehouse yang sudah di sediakan untuk redmi 4x, kemudian pilih menu load xml, pilih file rawprogram dan patchprogram, selanjutnya pilih menu download
- Tunggu proses instal file sampai selesai, setelah selesai, hidupkan handphone
- Setelah hidup konfigurasi seperti biasa ketika awal handphone, masuk ke menu xiaomi account, disini sudah tidak ada lagi account yang terinstal di handphone jadi bisa kita lewati dan masuk sampai ke menu handphone
- Kemudian kita test untuk wifi, sinyal kartu, dan bluetooth aman.
- Handphone sudah bisa di pakai seperti biasa
D. Metode 4
- Hidupkan handphone redmi 4x
- Langsung masuk ke menu xiaomi account posisi terkunci
- Kemudian matikan handphone
- Lepas backdoor dan cover mesin - Lakukan testpoint dan hubungkan dengan laptop memakai kabel usb
- Cek driver nya di device manager, setelah terdeteksi drivernya handphone siap untuk di flash
- Masuk ke aplikasi DBX, pilih menu xiaomi, beri ceklist di menu Unlock, kemudian klik menu REF untuk scanning port, selanjutnya menu mobile dan pilih sesuai handphone yaitu redmi 4x, kemudian klik START, tunggu sampai proses selesai.
- Setelah selesai, hidupkan kembali handphone tersebut, setelah konfigurasi seperti biasa sampai masuk menu xiaomi account, disini sudah tidak ada account yang tersimpan, jadi bisa kita lewati dan masuk ke menu handphone seperti biasa
- Kemudian cek wifi, sinyal kartu dan bluetooth aman.
