Class E Scow - Albert F. Gallun, Jr. - Harry Melges III Trophy

This trophy was presented in 1949 by Albert F. Gallun, Jr. It shall be awarded each year to the winner of the annual regatta and shall be awarded permanently to the skipper of any yacht who shall win the Class E Championship at the annual regatta for two successive years. Mr. Buddy Melges, winner for 1961 and 1962, has redonated the Albert F. Gallun, Jr. Trophy and he has requested that it remain known as the Albert F. Gallun, Jr. and that it be a perpetual trophy.
