Akron rallied to score twice in the tenth Road Record 7-15 to tie the game, and then won it on a three-run home run in the 11th. Versus Eastern Division 0-0 Versus Western Division 12-26 Baysox Starter: LHP Bruce Zimmermann is on the mound making his seventh start of the year for the Baysox. Current Streak L1 Zimmermann is coming off his best outing of the season, tying a career-high with 11 strikeouts in 5.2 scoreless Last Homestand 2-0 innings against Richmond. This is the fourth time this year that Zimmermann has started against Erie. In three prior Last Road Trip 1-2 outings against the SeaWolves, Zimmermann has pitched 15.1 innings and allowed seven earned runs. On April 23, the left-hander pitched six scoreless innings in Erie.
