welcomeweek.osu.edu The is rich with traditions, some of which date all the way back 1870 when the University was founded. Those traditions include Buckeye pride and a sense of community that can only be understood by fellow Ohio State students.

With those traditions also comes the innovation of tomorrow. During this academic year, Ohio State will be welcoming students into the newly updated Thompson Library as well as the new Ohio Union!

Enjoy this look back into the past, as well as a glance into the future as Tradition Welcomes Tomorrow!

The Ohio Union closed its doors for demolition and reconstruction in 2007. The New Ohio Union will be opening in the spring!
