CHANGES TO THE POSTSEASON With no postseason competition in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the new format to the NCAA Championships is in just its second season. OU captured the 2019 Athens Regional Crown with a 198.475 and a 10th straight regional title. The Sooners notched a 49.700 on beam and Maggie Nichols earned a perfect 10 on bars as the Sooners rolled to the second highest score in program history. OU went better than 49.600 on three events with a 49.650 on beam, a 49.675 on floor and a 49.700 on beam. In the second round of the regional, the Sooners posted a 198.300 with a 49.500 or Oklahoma @ou_wgymnastics @ou_wgymnastics Women’s better on every event. The Sooners tallied a 49.525 on vault, 49.650 on bars, 49.500 Gymnastics on beam and 49.625 on floor. Oklahoma swept the individual event titles and the all- around. Lindsey Morrison, Assistant Director McClendon Center for Intercollegiate Athletics Brenna Dowell took home the all-around title with a 39.550, the best score of both 180 W.
