MCC Independence, Mo “This is awesome!” “ I really learned a lot!” are some of the comments from students and parents who attended the April 23rd KCRSCCA Street Survival school held at the MCC Precision Driving Course in Independence. There were 29 students, each paired with his or her private instructor. Also in attendance were many volunteers who kept the event moving along well by “shagging” cones. The program is very rewarding, the students making huge advancements in both car control and confidence behind the wheel. These are all young drivers who are able to experience extreme driving conditions in a controlled environment. The BMW Club of Kansas City is hosting another school in October of this year. Further details to be available in the future. Plans are already being made by KCRSCCA to host another school in April of 2012. A huge “Thank you“ to all the students, instructors, volunteers and parents who attended and helped make this year’s Street Survival School a huge success. ~Article submitted by Mike Hill
