Summary

In his fourth year in , Michael Johnson is making a name for himself as one of the NFL’s impeccable defensive ends. The Georgia Tech graduate has started every game for the during the 2012 season and was voted AFC Defensive Player of the Week. He is currently one of the top five players in the AFC North division, with 67 tackles and 11.5 sacks. He also has an interception, a fumble recovery and three passes defended. Off the field, Michael is involved in many community projects including NFL Play 60, ’s Gen 1 Theme House and the annual Michael Johnson Sport and Cheer Camp in his hometown of Selma, Alabama.

Notable Community Activities On each team off day, Michael either speaks at a school, an event or takes kids on a tour of Cincinnati’s Stadium. He also makes a visit to the University of Cincinnati Hospital neonatal unit during every holiday season. Michael is a supporter of the American Heart Association, Mercy Health Foundation, J.E. Terry Elementary School (Selma, Alabama), the Selma Police Athletic League and the Dallas County (AL) Basketball Team.
