Dr. Don Carson is research professor of New Testament at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, Illinois. He has been at Trinity since 1978. He came to Trinity from the faculty of Northwest Baptist Theological in Vancouver, BC where he also served for two years as academic dean. He has served as assistant pastor and pastor and has done itinerant ministry in Canada and the UK. Dr. Carson is a founding member of The Gospel Coalition.

Dr. Kenton Anderson is President of Northwest Baptist Seminary and Professor of Homiletics at ACTS of Trinity Western University. He is a founding member and past president of the Evangelical Homiletics Society, is the author of several books on preaching, including Choosing to Preach (Zondervan), and serves on the editorial board for the Journal of the Evangelical Homiletics Society. Having served many years in pastoral ministry, Kent is particularly committed to church-based ministry leadership development.

Dr. Jeff Bucknam is lead pastor at Northview Community Church in Abbotsford. Jeff has a Bachelor’s degree in History and Communications from Western Washington University in Bellingham, WA, a Master of degree from Dallas Theological Seminary and is currently a Doctor of Ministry candidate at Talbot School of Theology in Los Angeles.

Dr. Brian Cooper is Associate Dean of Mennonite Brethren Biblical Seminary Canada and Assistant Professor of Theology at ACTS Seminaries of Trinity Western University. Brian has been married to Connie for 19 years, and they have a daughter, Nicole, and a son, Austin. Brian served as a pastor for several years, and also completed a Ph.D. in theology at Wycliffe College in Toronto. He has worked as a Teamster chaplain and a seminary administrative assistant, and taught part-time at Tyndale Seminary, Columbia Bible College, and ACTS before coming to MBBS full time in 2011.

Roger Helland (ThM, DMin), is district executive coach of the Baptist General Conference in Alberta. With many years of experience as a pastor, Bible college and seminary instructor, and denominational leader, Roger’s passion is to empower missional, disciple-making leaders and churches. He is the author of five books, most recently Missional Spirituality (IVP Books) and Magnificent Surrender (Wipf & Stock). Roger & his wife Gail live near Calgary.

Dr. Larry Perkins is Professor of Biblical Studies at Northwest Baptist Seminary in the ACTS Seminaries consortium with over 30 years of teaching experience. He is a fellow of the John William Wevers Institute of Septuagint Studies and Director of the Centre for Biblical and Theological Literacy. Larry has served for several years in pastoral ministry and also served as Dean of ACTS Seminaries and President of Northwest Baptist Seminary.

Dr. Ken Radant is Principal/Dean of ACTS Seminaries and Associate Professor of Theology. Ken has served in a variety of campus and non-professional church ministry settings in the US and Canada. He was Professor of Theology and Church History for 9 years at Prairie Graduate School where he also served as Acting Dean before joining ACTS faculty in 1999. His studies and teaching have focused on the integration of systematic, biblical and historical theology. His passion is training Christian men and women to do theology rather than merely reciting it; much of his current work centers on the development of effective theological method and its application to contemporary issues.

Dr. Brian Rapske is Professor of New Testament and has taught at Northwest Baptist Seminary in the ACTS Seminaries consortium since 1997. He chairs the MTS/MTH program committee there and has mentored thesis students across a broad range of New Testament subjects. Brian’s teaching is enriched by some ten years of pastoral experience in several Baptist churches in Canada. Brian is a member of several societies in his discipline and is published.

Dr. Archie Spencer earned his Th.D. from the University of Toronto School of Theology specializing in the Theology of Karl Barth (Anthropology and Ethical Ontology). He has served in pastoral ministry in various churches from 1983 – 2001. He has published Clearing a Space for Human Action: Ethical Ontology in the Theology of Karl Barth as well as many articles and book reviews. Dr. Spencer has been an invited guest speaker at a number of conferences including the Evangelical Theological Society, the Meeting of Responsibles for Communion and Liberation, La Thuile, Italy, and the Meeting of Friends, Rimini, Italy. Dr. Spencer teaches theology courses at Northwest Baptist Seminary at ACTS.

Dr. Jonathan Wilson is the Pioneer MacDonald Professor of Theology at Carey Theological College in Vancouver, BC. Before joining the Carey faculty in 2006, he was Professor of Theology and Ethics at Acadia Divinity College (2003-2006) and Professor of Religious Studies at Westmont College (1989-2003). A native of Oklahoma, he was ordained by Canadian and pastored in Western Canada from 1978-1986, where he also earned an M.C.S. and an M.Div. from . He has a Ph.D. in theology and ethics from Duke University (1989). Jonathan’s teaching invites followers of Jesus Christ to connect how we live with what we believe.
