U7 / U9 & U11’s will be competing over part of the hill from the cottages U13 / U15 / O15 will be competing from the bottom of the hill Please make your own way to the start it is the rider’s responsibility to ensure that you are with the time keeper with plenty of time to start. Please ensure that you leave at least 20 minutes to descent the hill to the start, taking care on the descent as others will be racing. The Timekeepers are not to be approached for information whilst the event is in progress. Whilst there are no gear restrictions for the Hill Climb, parents /guardians are reminded that it is in their child’s best interest to keep within the recommended restrictions for the age groups. Parents and Guardians are also reminded that Children taking part in this National Championship should be able to complete the course under their own steam with no assistance. The Road used for the Hill Climb is the North Drive so please be aware that there will be no traffic movements on the section that the U7/9/11 will be using.

Directions when Travelling from the South Turn off the A3 junction sign- posted Clanfield/Chalton , then follow the signs for Chalton and Butser Ancient Farm . Go past Butser Ancient Farm and follow the road for a mile into the village of Chalton . Just before a telephone box and post box sited on a triangular green in Chalton turn left, following signs to Ditcham and Idsworth. Follow the road for 0.6 mile and soon after going over a railway bridge, turn sharp left; signposted Ditcham and Woodcroft. Follow this road which leads into the school's south drive for 1.5 miles, to reach the school near the summit of the . Directions when travelling from the North Leave Petersfield on the B2146 signposted South Harting/Uppark. Follow this road for 2 miles where it enters . After passing a sharp right bend and Hurst Barns on the right, Turn right at the sign for Ditcham Park School /Tithe Barn. After 100 yards the Tithe Barn is facing you, and Old Ditcham Farm House is on your left. Follow this lane for 3 miles until you reach the school (After a 1 mile, pass cottages and Sunwood Farm on the left, and after a further mile, pass North Lodge on your left. This is the start of the School North Drive, and the School is at the top).
