How do I switch from Celsius to Fahrenheit?: To switch from Celsius to Fahrenheit, look on the back of the thermometer for the black button that says C/F. Press this button to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit.

Front CLOCK/TIMER: Press this button to switch between clock mode and timer mode. UP/DOWN: Use these buttons to set the temperature alert to the desired tempera ture. ALERT ON/OFF: Press this button to turn the temperature alert on or off. The thermometer will beep once the desired temperature is reached. HOUR/MIN: These buttons are used to set the timer. To reset the timer back to 0:00, hold both at the same time. START/STOP: Start the timer using this button.

How to set the Thermometer’s Clock: 1. Press and hold the Clock/Timer button until the display starts blinking. 2. Use Hour/Min to set the correct time. 3. Press Clock/Timer again to finish setting.

Back C/F: Press this button to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit. 12/24: Press this button to switch the clock display from 12 to 24 hours. ON/OFF: This button turns the thermometer on and off. In off mode the clock will stay on. This feature does not drain the battery so it will still last long. MAGNETS: Your thermometer comes with magnets if you would like to hang it up for easy viewing. BATTERY COMPARTMENT: Please insert two AAA batteries before first use. 1 How to Use Your Thermometer: 1) Before using your thermometer, make sure the probe is thoroughly cleaned. 2) Plug the probe cable into the side of the thermometer display. 3) Use this guide to know where to insert the thermometer probe: • For roasts, and other thick cuts of , insert the probe into the thickest part and make sure it is away from the bone or fat areas. • When cooking a whole , insert the probe into the inner thigh area. Try to be near the breast but do not touch the bone. • For meat loafs and other recipes with , insert the probe into the thickest area. • When cooking thin items, insert the probe sideways. This works for chops, thin steaks, single chicken breasts, and . • For casseroles and egg dishes, insert the probe into the thickest part. 4) Once the probe is inserted, it will begin to register temperature. 5) This guide shows the FDA’s recommended temperature for safe consumption.
