Kilkea Castle’s history dates back to 1180 when it was built by Hugh de Lacy for one of his Norman noblemen, Walter de Riddelsford.
Today, Kilkea Castle is truly a magnificent sight. Our luxurious Castle Hotel has recently undergone a massive refurbishment. Guests can enjoy the challenging 18-hole Golf Course, our luxurious Day Spa and Tennis Courts. The Castle offers four unique dining experiences and several options for rehearsal dinners and extended celebrations.
