Top right and left: In honour of the Canadian Naval Centennial, the S Under 18 team challenged CFB Esquimalt soccer play- ers to a friendly match on June 11. The navy players battled hard but lost 3-1.

Ball hockey, slow pitch and soccer were new sports for some of the vis- iting sailors, but the day’s activities were more about fun than winning. Each player received a commemora- tive Canadian Naval Centennial medal. T Penny Rogers, Lookout A Carmel Ecker, Lookout B L O Penny Rogers, Lookout Penny Rogers, Lookout I
