I propose that the By-laws relating to the management of solid waste in the Pradeshiya Sabha that is declared and published in Part IV(A) of the Gazette of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka under number 1816/42 date 28th June, 2013 which was complied by the Minister in charge of the subject of Local Government of the Central Provincial Council under the authority vested to him under Section 2 Sub-section (1) of the Local Authorities (standard By-laws) Act, No. 06 of 1952 (chap. 261) read along with Section 2, Sub-section (1) para (A) of the Provincial Councils consequential provisions) Act, No. 12 of 1989 shall be in force within the Ambagamuwa Pradeshiya Sabha aera from the date of publishing the notice under Section 3 of the Local Authorities (Standard By-laws) Act, No. 06 of 1952.

Further I propose that the By-laws which are referred in the Schedule II here below and the same was declared and published in the Gazette of Extraordinary of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka under No. 520/7 dated 23.08.1988 cannot be implemented within the area coming under Ambagamuwa Pradeshiya Sabha prior to the date when the above said By-laws should be in force as per decision taken by the Ambagamuwa Pradeshiya Sabha.
