Kents Store ARC held their first annual June Jamboree on Saturday (June 4). Sweet southern music provided by “The Midnighters” had the guests singing along, tapping their feet and occasionally swinging their partner. Others found it to be a pleasurable shopping experience by visit- ing the many vendors set up inside and out. The children delighted in riding ponies, putting bows in “ Lonzo “ and “ Sparkles “ at the petting zoo, visiting the fire truck and glitzing up with face paint and glitter tattoos. The smell of grilled burgers and dogs filled the air. Benevolence transpired as Maggie McWilliams sold her crafts to make money for St. Judes Hospital and Mad- die Grubbs and Gracie McWilliams worked a lemonade stand set up to collect money for a local nine-year-year old, Alyssa Divers who is batting cancer. A summer com- mencement was enjoyed by all in attendance.
