Whereas 2008 saw lots of choice on the market and very few buyers who had the confidence or ability to buy,2009 seems asituation of less stock being on the market to meet the needs of more buyers looking to purchase. This is amuch needed shift in the balance of supply and demand in favour of the seller,which on the face of it is good news, but it still remains the fact that the pricing the house at the correct level for the market is essential and in Worcester and the surrounding villages we need to see new houses coming to the market to benefit from this. Many sellers still feel the market is turbulent and that they will struggle to sell but we stand by our view point that if you can buy and sell in the same market, there is nothing to lose.

Rightmove reported on 16th March that there has been a57% fall in new listings this month (79,000 this month compared to 182,000 last year) and this also fits the local picture in and around Worcester.They also reported buyer enquiries were up by 120% on last year and again YOUR MOVE are continuing to see more buyer registrations across the market.
