Perth presents

Written and directed by Barrie Hunter

Fri 11 - Thu 24 Dec Greetings, Perth Panto Pals!!

Well, it’s been quite a year, hasn’t it? But we’re delighted that you want to join us in our Quest to find the Long Lost Light & Laughter! Since the DOOMY GLOOM descended on us all, we’ve dealt with it in different ways - Dame Heidi Hoall has hunkered doon in her attic room, wishing it would just GO AWAY!! Her hapless son, Duggie, just wants her to come back downstairs, cos he’s lonely since his twin brother, Phillup, mysteriously disappeared. Our intrepid Hero has pitched her tent and is determined to follow her father’s advice, with the help of a weird looking device - if anyone can find the Laughter and the Light it’s her....hopefully! And meanwhile, hibernating in a deep down dungeon with a strangely smug smile on her felonious face, Corrupta is biding her time until she can get back up there again, and spread even more unhappiness and unrest..... BOO!! It’s time to act! And sing, and dance, and boo and cheer - so pack your torches, your cheery disposition, and a warm Christmas jumper maybe - we need all the help we can muster in our Quest for the Laughter and the Light.....Let’s GO!!!
