Day 02 Reykjavik Enjoy breakfast in the comfort of your hotel, private sightseeing includes the Golden Circle; a popular route looping from Reykjavik into Central Iceland and back.

Visit Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, home to the world’s longest running parliament, see the dramatic landscape formed as a result of sitting along the border between the North American & European tectonic plates.

Private tour continues with the Golden Waterfall, an incredible double waterfall on the White River, the flow comes from the regular rains and the glacial runoff, Þingvellir National Park especially in the summer. Lunch served at a local restaurant. Explore the Geysir, a hot spring that is the namesake for all geysers in the world, stories of the Geysir area can be found in documents from the late 13th century.

Day 03 Reykjavik – Kirkjubaejarklaustur Hotel breakfast, drive further along the South cast of Iceland, visit , one of South Iceland’s many falls, falling of a sixty meter high cliff, the pathway leading to behind the falls is quite an experience. Journey continues to Volkano Museum where you will watch a two minute movie about the 2010 eruption in Eyjafjallajokull.

Visit Skogafoss where the falls have been protected since Seljalandsfoss the late 80’s, a trial leads to the top of the falls and up the Skoga River Valley. Private car transfer to the little town of Vik I Myrdal, an important service center for the inhabitants of and visitors to the coastal strip, lunch served at a local restaurant.

Drive across Myrdalsandur, the vast black-lava sand flats, east of Vik, are formed from material washed out from underneath the area during Katla eruptions. Arrive at the town of Kirkjubaejarklaustur where you can see the beautiful Waterfall. Evening hotel transfer, overnight Kirkjubaejarklaustur.

Day 04 Kirkjubaejarklaustur Breakfast at hotel, drive to Skaftafell National Park, hike up (weather permitting), then drive to see Syinafellsjokull, witness how the water falls from the mighty Vatnajokull Glacier, the largest in Eurpe, and the incredible lagoon in front of it.

Lunch served at a local restaurant followed by your private tour of the famous Glacier Lagoon where you can see massive floating icebergs. Walk down to the black sandy beach on the other side of the road and see Glacier Lagoon the contrasting landscape. Day 05 Kirkjubaejarklaustur – Reykjavik Breakfast at hotel, drive back towards the city, on the way visit Solheimajokull Glacier, where you will meet the Arcanum people, take a snowmobile ride or try glacier hiking.

Day 06 Reykjavik – Snæfellsnesvegur Enjoy breakfast in the comfort of your hotel, today you will be driven along the west coast of Iceland to Borgarfjorour, where you will see the largest hot spring in the world; Deildartunguhver, a great place to take photos.

You will be driven further inland to visit Hraunfossar and Waterfalls, enjoy the fantastic scenery where the water flows from between the lava fields. Head to Husafell where you will get into a jeep, drive up to the Glacier Langjokull; the second largest in Iceland. Enjoy your four hour tour to the only man made Glacier cave in the world. Drive across the Snaefellsnes Peninsula to your hotel, overnight Snæfellsnesvegur. Glacier Langjokull Day 07 Snæfellsnesvegur – Reykjavik Hotel breakfast, travel around the Snaefellsnes Peninsula, begin with a whale watching tour from Grundarfjorour in the morning followed by visiting the fishing port Hellnar, lunch served at a local restaurant.

Head to Djupalonsandur, a sandy beach and bay, once home to sixty fishing boats and one of the most prolific fishing villages on the Snaefellsnes Peninsula, today the area is uninhabited. You will learn of the ‘Four Lifting Stones’ in this area that were used by fisherman to test their strength. Visit Arnarstapi bird cliffs and take a short walk as you enjoy breathing in the sea air.
