ALLIANZ VILLAGE The Allianz Village is a massive urban redevelopment opportunity in the center of St. Paul. With the $250 million-dollar stadium being built, comes the development of this entire area. The Allianz redevelopment plans to begin in 2019. With the development, there will be 420,000 SF of retail and entertainment space along with 350+ residential units and 190+ hotel rooms, with more planned to come. University Ave is a great location for the 40-acre redevelopment to take place. Following close behind is the Wellington Project which is the proposed project for 175 apartments being built across the street from the claimed "Super Block" and branching across to the west side of Snelling Ave. The development of this block will be a complete change to the area, with many building's already redeveloping. Victory Park is planned to be a beautiful 2.6 acres park in from of the stadium that will be a great area for community events and outdoor gatherings.

LOCATION AND PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION Location is the key component to this urban redevelopment. Located 6 miles from central and just 6.5 miles from Minneapolis International Airport, the Allianz Village and Stadium are in a prime location of St. Paul. Sitting directly off Highway I-94, traffic ountsc for the area are extremely high at 159,000 VPD on I-94, 35,000 VPD on Snelling Ave, and 15,400 VPD on University Ave. The "Super Block" is also a heavy foot traffic area and home ot the Snelling Ave transit stop for the Green Line Light Rail. The Green Line route will carry 40,000 riders per day and is part of the route for the metro transit line A, which stops at the Snelling and University intersection. At 55,000+ VPD, this is one of the busiest intersections in the metro. The Green Line Light Rail connects Minneapolis to St. Paul as shown above and the A line bus route starts in Minneapolis and make its way up Snelling Ave. The Midway Village is right in the thick of St. Paul, surrounded by public transportation, Highways, and both cities with the international airport nearby.

ALLIANZ FIELD INFORMATION The stadium is expected to start hosting games in early 2019. The bowl shaped dome is a first fo its kind, made from a fabric webbed mesh. The stadium is being constructed by the powerhouse stadium builder Mortenson Construction. After recently finishing the .S.U Bank Stadium, and shortly before that, Stadium, Mortenson is building astonishing stadiums one after another. The city of St. Paul along with other public sources have devoted more than $18 million in infrastructure and clean up to the area around the stadium. The photo above is the University block before the development of the Midway Village and the Allianz Stadium. The once Rainbow Foods strip mall and old bus yard will be developed into the amazing site plan shown below. With an expandable seating count of 19,400 and a price tag of $250 million, the stadium will drive progress to the entire area. The stadium is placing 2.6 acres aside for a green, outdoor gathering space.
