The legendary Sherwood Country Club is a private member owned and country club in beautiful Thousand Oaks California set at the base of the . Sherwood is home to a championship 18-hole signature , driving range, and two Georgian style golf and tennis clubhouses.

Sherwood is seeking an experienced Chef de Cuisine for the Tennis Clubhouse. In this role, you will assist the Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef with food production and supervision of kitchen staff, in a high volume fine dining establishment. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and a full benefits package. Key responsibilities include: Uphold high food production standards and reinforce them to your team Culinary creativity and expertise Proven kitchen management skills Ability to mentor team of Cooks and Kitchen staff on skills and recipes Lead by example to create an environment of collaboration and respect Coordinate and oversee menu development and preparation Ensure health laws are followed and orderliness and cleanliness in kitchen area is maintained Eliminate waste of hours, products and materials Plan team schedules Coach and counsel staff as needed

Minimum requirements: Graduate of Culinary Institute Minimum 5 years as Chef/Sous Chef in food service industry Excellent communication skills Private club experience highly desirable Must be Food Handler Certified
