Research Interests I design and evaluate systems that conform to individuals’ evolving information needs in order to support complex information tasks. I study how personalized and adaptive systems may facilitate chronic disease management and address health disparities. I also use user-centered design to address usability, safety, and ethical issues when implementing machine learning insights into clinical workflows.
