Q. I am flying in. How do I pack my liquids?

A. Any liquids, gels, creams, and pastes you would like to bring with you 1) must be in no larger than 3.4 oz. each, and 2) must all fit together in a single one quart sized clear, zip-top style bag. Any containers that cannot fit into that bag cannot come with you on the flight.

Q. I am arriving by airplane at the Philadelphia International Airport. How do I get to campus?

A. Upon arrival, please follow the signs to Claim. If you are not in Terminal B/C, ask at the information desk how to get there. Once you are in Terminal B/C Baggage Claim, look for us at the Hospitality Booth across from baggage carousel G (near the US Airways Customer Service Center in Terminal C). There you will find a designated Penn table with Penn representatives waiting to personally escort you to campus via SEPTA Regional Rail along with any other students arriving at around the same time.

Q. What if I miss my flight?

A. DON’T MISS YOUR FLIGHT. We cannot guarantee that we will be able to make alternative arrangements for you if you miss your scheduled flight departure from your origin city. With that in mind, please make your plans well in advance to ensure that you will arrive at your departure airport at least an hour and a half prior to your scheduled takeoff. This means you want to be physically walking into the airport with your 90 minutes before your flight. Make a note of this target time and use that (not your takeoff time) to make your plans for how and when to arrive at the airport. If someone will be driving you, take traffic into account when you determine what time to leave home. Thank you for your understanding. We look forward to greeting you at the Philadelphia airport!
