The double din size of ATOTO A6 series provide 4 types of front panel size as option: 173mm*97mm, 178mm*101.5mm, 205mm*104mm(Toyota specific), and Ultra 10.1inch, and their model name start as A6(Y)27xxxx, A6(Y)17xxxx, A6(Y)TYT7xxx and A6Y1021xxx. Most dashboard mounting frame suppliers from North America may provide double din mounting frame with 174mm*98mm opening (Metra dash kit, PAC dash kit,etc). Some vehicles may also have only 174mm*98mm dashboard opening. ATOTO A6(Y)2xxxx is the first one to bring Android 7in car stereo with minimum 174mm*97mm front panel dimension! An extra plastic frame is also included in the package to extend A6 frame size to 178mm*101.5mm. No extra trimming/cutting job is needed any more!
Notice:
ATOTO A6 Standard/Premium version do not provide iPod ready/headrest video output option. ATOTO A6 Standard version does not have 2A Quick Charge feature, and no external microphone is included in the package. Actually, built in microphone is good enough for Bluetooth hands free in daily use.
Update(1)[2018-03-31]：A6Y2710SB & A6Y2721PB are the only available Android car stereo models on Amazon that have 6 functional physical buttons on front panel. Most from others have only 4 - 5 buttons available, and physical buttons to skip tracks are missing, but these two are also indispensable for quick operation during driving. In certain particular situation, skipping tracks may be operated more frequently.

Update(3)[2018-04-10]: Recently we received a few reports on ATOTO A6 failure to boot and stuck in ATOTO logo. These A6 have been done with fully technical analysis by ATOTO engineers. It finally turned out to be illegal system rooting which damaged the system firmware. Considering that ATOTO AICE OS 9.X has been deeply customized from Android OS, and developers cannot make system changes based on previous experience with Android smartphone/tablet, here we state/emphasize that all ATOTO A6 should not be rooted under any circumstances, by any means, or else the rooting will break the promised product warranty. We will continue release firmware update to optimize system when available. The inner SoC Chip MTK8127A of ATOTO A6 series meets the standard of Android GMS/CTS, so buyers can update the built-in Google Play Store, Play Service, and Google app anytime when available. It means most apps available from Google Play Store can be installed: Tomtom,Waze, Google Maps, Here Wego, Spotify, Pandora, Play Music & more. Rushing to higher Android OS, but failing to meet the standard of Android CTS, the core apps like Google Play Service, and Google app may not be able to update to latest version properly, or there are always unknown errors during update, so it makes no sense only emphasizing higher Android version. More than 300 apps from Google Play Store have been tested installable on ATOTO A6 Series, especially media/entertainment apps and apps in category of "Auto & Vehicles". However, very few apps that are specified only working on phone based Soc chip will not be installable. Currently only "Android Auto" and a few Android games app can not, because developers of them do not want them to run on tablet android device. But most apps(over 99%) are both smartphone & tablet compatible. 2.4Ghz WiFi reception has been significantly improved so now Google voice can work smoothly and the reception of ATOTO WiFi can be comparable to some smartphones (Ultra WiFi antenna inside with silver plated copper wire is now included, no extra cost required)! Most users need to run online map or stream music online on Android car stereo and these requirements do not need high bandwidth(less than100kb/s), Bluetooth tethering connection is enough. Actually the records we tested between ATOTO A6 & iPhone 7 Plus/Huawei Mate 9 via Bluetooth connection are up to 150kb/s & 180kb/s (it is determined by Bluetooth edition and most phones are using Bluetooth 4.0 or up, Bluetooth 2 in A6 is also Bluetooth 4.0)! WiFi hotspot option from smartphone has much higher power consumption than Bluetooth tethering option. Phone battery will last much longer via Bluetooth tethering connection; It is easier to limit the Max downloading speed when using smartphone's data plan, especially when unwanted apps update or file download happens.
Dual Bluetooth chips inside allows ATOTO A6 to connect to more Bluetooth-based devices
There are two Bluetooth chips inside A6 Series, respectively named as "Bluetooth 1", and "Bluetooth 2".
The Bluetooth 1 works as Bluetooth handsfree (call/answer) with A2DP streaming audio feature. Contacts/recent records will be synchronized once smartphone is connected. All the contacts can be searched by manually typing or A-Z filtering and users can add certain contacts to "Favor" list for quick dialing! Media ID3 info (song name, singer and album) will also be synchronized when using Bluetooth A2DP audio streaming, and dynamic sound spectrum displays when music is playing. Just say goodbye to an empty playback screen! The Bluetooth 2 not only works as Bluetooth tethering internet, but also allows to connect to Bluetooth gamepad (for kids in rear seats), Bluetooth OBD2, Bluetooth TPMS, and transferring files between A6 and smartphone is also supported!
