Born and raised in Manchester, Fury weighed just 1lb at birth after being born three months premature. His father John named him after Mike Tyson. From Irish traveller heritage, the“Gypsy King” is undefeated in 28 professional fights, winning 27 with 19 knockouts, and drawing once. His most famous victory came in 2015, when he stunned longtime champion Wladimir Klitschko to win the WBA, IBF and WBO world heavyweight titles. He was forced to vacate the belts because of issues with drugs, alcohol and mental health, and did not fight again for more than two years. Most thought he was done with boxing forever. Until an amazing comeback fight with Deontay Wilder in December 2018. It was an instant classic, ending in a split decision tie. Outside of the ring, Tyson Fury is a mental health ambassador. He donated his million dollar purse from the Deontay Wilder fight to the homeless. This book is dedicated to the cause of mental health awareness.

Saturday: Conrad Cummings- Danny Dignum Middleweight Clash to Headline Latest Edition of #MTKFightNight on ESPN+ (Nov. 6, 2019) — Conrad “Mr. Dynamite” Cummings and the unbeaten Danny Dignum will square off in a can’t-miss 10-round tilt for the vacant WBO European middleweight title Saturday from London’s York Hall on the latest edition of #MTKFightNight. Cummings-Dignum and a stacked undercard will stream live on ESPN+, the leading multi-sport streaming service, starting at 3 p.m. ET/12 p.m. PT. Cummings (17-3-1, 7 KOs) hopes to capture the WBO European middleweight belt for the third time. His second reign ended in March via unanimous decision to top contender Luke Keeler, but he returned to the win column in October with a six-round points victory over veteran Adam Grabiec. Dignum (11-0, 5 KOs), from Essex, England, will make his middleweight debut after fighting at super middleweight and light heavyweight. This is his first scheduled 10-round bout, and he is coming off an eight-round decision over former world title challenger and European welterweight champion Rafal Jackiewicz. In other action on the ESPN+ stream: Welterweight contender Michael “The Problem” McKinson (17-0, 2 KOs) will face fellow unbeaten Luis Alberto Varon (17-0-2, 8 KOs) in a 10-rounder. Former world title challenger Liam Walsh (22-1, 15 KOs) will fight longtime British fan-favoriteMaxi Hughes (19-4-2, 4 KOs) for the vacant WBO European lightweight belt. Walsh challenged Gervonta Davis for the IBF junior lightweight world title in May 2017 and was knocked out in the third round.

HOLLYWOOD, FL. (June 3, 2016) - Undefeated lightweight world champion Rances “Kid Blast” Barthelemy (24-0, 13 KOs) will make his first title defense against former world champion Mickey “The Spirit” Bey (22-1-1, 10 KOs) in the main event of Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) on Spike Friday, June 3 Hard Rock Live at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Hollywood, Florida. Televised coverage begins at 9 p.m. ET/PT “There were rumors that a fight between me and Mickey Bey was on the brink of happening prior to my fight against Denis Shafikov, so now that it is here, I know it was destined to happen,” said Barthelemy. “I’m not a rookie anymore. I’m not going into this worried or nervous about it being my first title defense at 135. I’m comfortable enough now to see every fight as just another challenge I need to execute my game plan the most effectively and with the least amount of errors.” “Barthelemy won my title, I had to vacate it due to a hand injury, so all he is doing is keeping it warm for me,” said Bey. “Training camp is going great. I have been training hard for over a month. I have the best team in the business, with the most knowledgeable trainers. I’m looking forward to the challenge with him being undefeated and a two-time world champion.
