The story of the Beam family is one of seven generations, more than 200 years, countless challenges and one goal; to make the best bourbon in the world. Of course tasting is part of the tour. Lodging at the Hampton Inn. Dinner on your own.

Day 2 - A tour of My Old Kentucky Home State Park is a landmark, and a must see while visiting. Step into one of America’s most famous mansions as we go back to the antebellum era of the mid 1800s. Next, tour Oscar Getz Whiskey Museum and get an interesting history lesson about the American whiskey industry dating from pre-Colonial days to post-Prohibition years. This afternoon tour and taste at The Bourbon Company Bardstown. Set on 100 acres of active farmland, they produce the highest- quality Kentucky bourbon, whiskey, and through a one-of-a-kind Collaborative Distilling Program. Conclude the afternoon with a delicious Farm to Table dinner, here at the Bardstown Bourbon Company. Thoughtfully executed, approachable cui- sine informed by both Kentucky classics and the finest flavors make this a modern Kentucky experience.

Day 3 - This morning tour Heaven Hill Distillery, the largest independent family-owned distilled spirits supplier in the country. Founded shortly after Prohibition ended, Heaven Hill is a world leader of aging with an inventory in excess of 1,600,000 barrels - amazing! Mid day leisure time in downtown Bardstown for lunch and browsing. This afternoon tour and taste at Maker’s Mark Distillery. Learn all about the history and cast of characters behind the brand and the time - honored process required to make it, from the breakthrough bread-baking experiment to the maverick marketing that helped elevate an upstart bourbon brand. Tonight is the tour highlight as we board My Old Kentucky Dinner Train for an upscale dining experience as we view the picturesque scenery from historic, renovated Pullman coach cars.

Day 4 - Lexington, Kentucky is en route home and what better way to conclude our tour visiting a Kentucky Horse Farm. Mag- nificent horse farms dot the landscape in the rolling hills. We’ll tour one of the most spectacular of these majestic farms - Clai- borne Farm. The home of Secretariat, Claiborne is one of the most storied farms in Horse Country. Walk through a historic Thoroughbred operation for over 100 years. Behind their gates you will find thoroughbred holy ground which has produced more than 80 Champion race horses.
