ARISE Detroit will host its 7th Annual Neighborhoods Day event on August 3, 2013 from “Sun-Up to Sun-Down” and hopes to partner more than 30 Detroit Public Schools with local businesses/organizations to provide in-kind beautification resources to help prepare our schools for the upcoming school year. Below, please find the DPS sites that will take part in Neighborhoods Day, as well as the project requests.

These special needs student will require some support throughout their entire lives. Project Request: Drew is located on the corner of Wyoming and Chicago. There are several abandoned buildings directly across the street that present a safety hazard to our students. We also have two large unused locker room areas that are filled with debris and are in need of cleaning and restoration.
