BLAST Pro Series enters a new broadcast deal with 7Sports to reach a larger audience.

Munich, on March xx, 2019: Even more eSports live on free TV! The men’s channel ProSieben MAXX will present,on March 23 starting at 10:00 p.m., the BLAST Pro Series live and exclusively from São Paulo. 7Sports has secured the TV and online broadcasting rights for the entire 2019 tournament series. To this end, the sports business unit of the ProSiebenSat.1 Group has concluded a licensing agreement with RFRSH Entertainment, the operator of the BLAST Pro Series.
During the BLAST Pro tournament series, the five best teams in the world and the best team of the respective host country compete against each other in "Counter-Strike: Global Offensive." There is a prize pool 250,000 US dollars per tournament. The first of a total of eight tournaments this year will be held in São Paulo and is considered the biggest eSports event in Brazil. Host Matthias Remmert will guide us through the evening on ProSieben MAXX. The commentators in the studio will be Michele "Zonixx" Köhler and gRuMM3I.
During the year, ProSieben MAXX will broadcast additional tournaments live on free TV and online. The eSports magazine "ran eSports: Professional. Gaming. Magazine." and the digital news portal eSports.com will also report extensively on the BLAST Pro Series.
