The Trust runs a hostel in Tressillian Road, housing 21 homeless young women, and a smaller hostel in . At almost 90, Sybil Phoenix is now taking more of a backseat having spent her lifetime caring for others, but her ethos of love, care and support for vulnerable young women still prevails. The hostels create a home and sense of routine for residents, providing food, care, counselling, educational classes, a resettlement programme and a drop-in nurse service. Each young woman has an

allocated support worker. The aim is to help them engage with education or work and eventually develop the skills needed to live independently in the community. Unfortunately, the funding for this important work has been reduced over recent years. The Trust always welcomes new supporters and volunteers to help raise funds and run their services.
