Juli 2021 beim Braunschweiger THC statt. „Wir sind überglücklich, dass wir das Turnier wieder stattfinden lassen können, wenn auch mit einigen Einschränkungen“, so Turnierchef Harald Tenzer von der ausrichtenden Brunswiek Marketing GmbH. Tatsächlich muss sich die Braunschweiger Tennis- und Partyszene auf einige Änderungen einstellen. Ebenso wie Konzertliebhaber. Mit dem Deutschen Yannick Hanfmann, dem Sieger von 2018, dem Tschechen Jiri Vesely und Ricardas Berankis aus Litauen stehen drei Spieler aus den Top 100 der Weltrangliste bei dem mit 66.640 Euro dotierten ATP Challenger auf der Meldeliste, mit Oscar Otte (ATP 165), Cedrik-Marcel Stebe (ATP 136) und Daniel Altmeier (ATP 166) drei weitere Deutsche im Hauptfeld. „Danach herrscht eine große Dichte zwischen Spielern, die zwischen 100 und 200 auf der Weltrangliste stehen“, berichtet Volker Jäcke. Der Sieger des Jahres 2017, der Spanier Nicolas Kuhn steht dementsprechend zurzeit noch nicht im Hauptfeld, ebenso der Hamburger Tobias Kamke, der 2019 im Finale stand.
