CAREGIVER EDUCATION There was a remarkable increase in family education seminars with record numbers in attendance this year. The seminars provide caregivers with techniques and resources to help them along their dementia journey. Care4U, the first provincial conference for family and friends caring for a person with dementia, was a tremendous success with over 350 attendees. Almost 900 Manitobans attended Living with Alzheimer’s Disease workshop sessions, resident family councils and family caregiver education.
