Garsfontein police allegedly replaced the contents of some bottles of alcohol with tea when they returned bottles confi scated from a popular restaurant in the east of Pretoria during the lockdown. Now AfriForum’s private prosecution unit is helping the restaurant owner lay charges against several police offi cers at the Garsfontein police station for “illegally” confi scating the alcohol, said to be worth thousands of rands.
