Isn’t it just plain normal for employees to bid up their wages in a capitalistic economy? This CEO is a whiner. Be glad you received so many offers of peo- ple who’d like to work for you. Hir- ing is a give-and-take process. Just shut up, cull through the ré- sumés, interview candidates and then make a few offers. Instead of doing just that, you’ve now pub- licly advertised that you’re cheap. Watch those résumés now dry up to a trickle. This CEO, folks, has just looked the gift horse in the mouth.
