El Atlético de Madrid consiguió encontrar la contraseña antes de que fuera tarde para poner fin al duopolio Madrid-Barcelona y dejar claro que el título de 2014 no fue un error del sistema. Como tampoco lo fue el éxito del Sevilla de Julen Lopetegui, el de la Real Sociedad de Imanol o el del Granada de Diego Martínez. Por contra, hemos visto proyectos históricos como el del Valencia desangrarse o los últimos coletazos de Bordalás y su Getafe en un curso durísimo. Son algunas pinceladas de una temporada que tratamos de analizar pausadamente, una vez descargada toda la adrenalina del último fin de semana. Este es nuestro balance de la Primera División 2020-21. Tras el final de emergencia de la pasada campaña, esta ha sido la primera al completo bajo el yugo de la pandemia del coronavirus. Apenas 5.000 espectadores pudieron presenciar cuatro partidos de las últimas dos jornadas: Valencia-Eibar, Villarreal-Sevilla, Elche-Athletic y Levante-Cádiz.
