The RMSC year 12 teachers have also been working ‘above and beyond’ supporting students, many staying late into the evening to give students the help they need. Report Curriculum We wish all year 12 students well for the upcoming Examinations and External Assessments. NAPLAN Naplan results were released last week and have been posted home for all year 9 students. Teachers will be analysing these results as well as PAT Reading and Mathematics test results to identify areas for learning to include in their teaching programs. This data is invaluable in that it provides us with customised information about each student which means that we can better tailor learning programs for all students. Professional Development The next Professional Development (Pupil Free) day on November 19, 2018 will focus on the IB MYP Approaches to Learning and developing Units of work that incorporate high impact teaching strategies. This will involve shared planning of curriculum, designing assessment tasks and moderating student work. We continue to work in a way to ensure that all students receive a quality education and that standards are consistent across classes. The shed is to house the new ride-on lawn mower that arrived in term 3 and this was the source of a lot of excitement in the group with lots of eager operators. During term 3 our group went on an excursion to Bunnings to participate in a seedling and planting workshop.
